Fireballs song book

EARLY 1970s
After Jimmy Gilmer left the group and The Fireballs decided to branch out with a new sound,
Norman Petty had a 5 year name clause in their contract in which they couldn't use the "Fireball" name
and the band became "Colorado".

Keith McCormack, Stan Lark, George Tomsco & Robert Hart

This lineup released 2 singles on the UNI label:
MY BABE / COUNTRY COMFORT (UNI 55280)
DOGWOOD / MOONSHINE (UNI 55302)

The 2 singles were recorded in California

George recalls that Stan sang lead on a take of "Ain't That Rain"
and that other tracks may have been recorded and remain unreleased.
After the 5 year period, they were back to being "The Fireballs"!
